01 Who it’s for
Anyone can use the tools on this site without an account — for example, to try a breathing exercise or a test.
Accounts, and the features that come with them — sending tests, homework, exercises and games to clients and seeing their results — are meant for mental health professionals and trainees working under supervision.
02 Not a diagnosis, not emergency care
Scores and severity ranges are screening aids. They support, but never replace, professional clinical judgement. A score on its own is not a diagnosis.
This site is not an emergency service. If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency number.
03 Sending links to clients
When you send a client a link, you’re responsible for choosing what is suitable for them, explaining what it’s for, and reviewing what they send back.
Nobody monitors client answers as they come in. Some questionnaires ask about thoughts of self-harm (for example, item 10 of the EPDS and item 19 of the SDS). Results are only seen when you open them, so make sure your own safety and follow-up arrangements are in place before you send a link.
Before sending a link, make sure you have whatever consent or lawful basis your professional and legal rules require. Please use codes rather than client names.
04 EMDR
The EMDR tool provides bilateral stimulation only. It’s intended for practitioners trained in EMDR therapy, as part of their usual clinical work — not for self-treatment.
05 The questionnaires
The questionnaires belong to their authors, who are credited on each test’s page. We provide them for clinical and educational use.
Some have their own conditions — for example, the PSS-10 is free for non-profit use. If you use them in a commercial setting, it’s your responsibility to check the author’s terms.
06 Your account
Keep your password private and tell us if you think someone else has access. You’re responsible for what happens in your account.
You can delete your account at any time from your account page. This permanently removes everything saved in it.
07 Your content
What you save — homework plans, notes, your practice name and logo — stays yours. You allow us to store and show it only so the service works, for example, putting your logo on the pages your clients see.
Only upload a logo or other material you have the right to use.
08 Acceptable use
Don’t copy the tools to resell them, try to break or overload the service, access other people’s accounts or links, or use the site for anything unlawful.
We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
09 The service
The tools are free to use. We work hard to keep the site accurate and available, but it’s provided as it is, and we can’t promise it will always be free of errors or interruptions.
If we ever introduce paid features, we’ll tell you clearly beforehand — nothing you already use will start costing money without notice.
10 Changes to these terms
If we change anything important, we’ll email account holders at least 30 days before it takes effect, and update the date at the top of this page.
